PONDER ATHLETICS:
Ponder ISD Athletics provides students with opportunities to compete, grow, and develop through a wide variety of athletic programs. As the Ponder Lions, our athletes represent their school and community with pride while striving to compete at the highest level.
Beginning with the 2026–27 school year, Ponder Athletics will compete in Class 4A of the University Interscholastic League (UIL). This exciting transition brings new challenges and opportunities as our Lions continue to raise the standard for Ponder Athletics.

Boys: Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Powerlifting, Soccer, Tennis, and Track & Field
Girls: Basketball, Cross Country, Golf, Powerlifting, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Track & Field, and Volleyball

Our athletic programs compete across several UIL districts based on sport:

- Basketball: District 9-4A
